Please find attached the notice of our Annual General Meeting for Junior Activities (Nippers). All financial active members are invited to the meeting and are able to vote.
The Nippers AGM will take place 9am on Saturday 15th July inside the Surf Club.
The Senior Surf and Supports Club AGM’s will follow afterwards at 10am and 11am.

Please come along to our AGM. We have many positions open for the upcoming season and we need your help.
The best way to make change is to join the committee and put your ideas forward.
Our meetings are very casual, we usually have dinner when we can and knowing how busy everyone is we discuss most items that rise over messenger group chat.

DESCRIPTION OF BOARD AND NON BOARD POSITIONS

JA PRESIDENT – Acts as the speaker for the group and liaises with Branch and senior surf
committee members. Forms part of the Team Selection committee.
VICE PRESIDENT – Acts as President when needed, shadow role for succession.
SECRETARY – Minutes meetings, tables correspondence and sets meeting agenda.
TREASURER – Prepares the nipper budget, collects and maintains nipper BBQ float and liaises
with senior club accountant.
REGISTRAR – Maintain nipper member records, mainly proficiencies and surf awards.
SURF SPORTS DIRECTOR – Liaises with coaches on training programs for the competitive
team, forms part of the Team Selection committee for carnivals, helps organise Club Carnival
and the Sunday program.
WATER SAFETY SUPERVISOR – Ensure correct water safety numbers are held each Sunday
and assigned to appropriate arenas. Holds morning water safety and age manager briefing.
GEAR STEWARD – Maintains a register of nipper equipment and controls board leases.
Organises repairs and replacement of any nipper gear.
BBQ CO-ORDINATOR – Purchases supplies for bbq and oversees the bbq set up each week.
U8-U10 TEAM MANAGER – Organises junior carnivals and team selections.
U11-U14 TEAM MANAGER – Organises senior carnivals and team selection.
UNIFORM COORDINATOR – Organises uniforms and merchandise for the nipper community.
FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR – Organises workforce for various fundraising activities.
SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR – Works with the senior club on nipper sponsorship.
TRAINING OFFICER – Helps nippers cover surf awards and run the u14 SRC camp.
AGE MANAGER MENTOR – Mentor new age managers, ensures awards are completed and
lisasses with all age managers.
OFFICIAL LIAISON – Mentors and enlists new officials into training and liaises with all officials.
CHILD SAFETY OFFICER – Ensures all child safety measures are met.
