Morning, please read message below from Sunshine coast branch regarding Coaches Development. We are always seeking more skilled persons who can help support our Surf Sports Director, Stacey, at our club. If you have skills and are keen, please let us know and we will add your name to an EOI list.

Off the back of a very successful session last year – the Surf Sports team are currently looking at ways to run another Coaches Development Session for this season. Due to the impacts of Worlds on the current Carnival Calendar it is simply not possible to run one the same way it was last year. We are currently exploring this in every possible option to make it as accessible and beneficial for all.

I am currently asking, if possible, for clubs to send me a number of members that would be interested in a session like this again as a development opportunity but also how many potential coaches that would need to be signed off again this year? We are just trying to gage how best to go about this. Sessions Include:

- Junior Coaching

- Beach – Sprints & Flags

- Surf – 2 sessions

o Swim

o Board & Iron

- IRB – depending on interest

- Athlete Management & Session Planning
